Making the decision to move is not an easy fete, but has the time come to look for a new home ? Let’s find out.
1. Have you outgrown the space?
The first question you need to answer is that have you and your family outgrown the space you’re currently in? If your rental can handle as much as it can and its getting a little crowded, then its certainly time for a move.
2. Is your commute getting to you?
It goes without saying that living in Bahrain comes with a commute, but are you spending a lot more time in your car than you did before? If you are, and the commute is taking up most of you day, then you might want to consider moving homes.
3. Do you need a different neighborhood?
Has the time for a neighborhood change? Something that is more child-friendly? Or even an area that is more centrally located? Whatever the case may be, if your needs for a neighborhood have changed, then a move should be your next step.
4. Are you satisfied with the buildings management?
There is nothing worse than bad building management. If your landlord or building manager does not handle complaints efficiently or keep the property maintained, it can be very difficult to feel safe and comfortable in your own home. This reason on its own, is a deal breaker.
5. Are there different options in your price range?
Since price fluctuations are the norm when it comes to the real estate market, you might find a deal on a home that is too good to pass up. Additionally, your rent can also increase without prior notice, which is also another good reason to make a move.
6. Do you need a change?
Is a change of scenery needed? Have you outgrown the home and its surrounding? If you’ve answered yes, then consider making a move. Make sure however that you consider all the aspects before making that decision.
